About them

Actually, "them" is really "us".

We are pioneers in ensuring that the Wayuu weavers are not just suppliers, but rather actual commercial partners of the company. We have a mutual responsibility relationship, in which the Wayuu guarantee us the highest quality products, while we guarantee them transparency, fairness, and equality. Which we are extremely proud of, given both the tribe's unique cultural assets and the struggles it has faced.

We collaborate with the Wayuu Communities with the support of Talento Colectivo, a non-profit organization that works with the Wayuu weavers under fair trade principles.

Each mochila is a product of the dedication of a Wayuu woman – during three to four weeks; she dedicates all her energy to hand weave one bag, and provides for her family with the profits made from her creation.
